Enéas Capixaba started the match with the kick off. Joélson Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Nesor Rancel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Dzerwucki in the 6th minute of play forced OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Walmyr Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajetan Dzerwucki kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Enéas Capixaba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feil Futebol Club's Giuseppe Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save OvO FC from getting a goal against them. When Kajetan Dzerwucki came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Feil Futebol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Dzerwucki couldn't finish the play. Emerson Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emerson Vides hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nesor Rancel. Joélson Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Dzerwucki in the 25th minute. With a little luck, OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca got control of the ball when Nesor Rancel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joélson Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Dzerwucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save OvO FC from getting a goal against them. Joélson Fonseca was a little too slow when Nesor Rancel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Ronaldinho de Senna's late challenge caught a Feil Futebol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Ronaldinho de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OvO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when José de Mendonça scored to the left of an out of position Joélson Fonseca, making the score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nesor Rancel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilmar Paulista was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of OvO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Feil Futebol Club:s goal. 61 minutes into the game, Luizinho Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OvO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feil Futebol Club the free kick. The supporters of Feil Futebol Club booed when OvO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nesor Rancel got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Joélson Fonseca handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Dzerwucki in the 67th minute of play forced OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nesor Rancel in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joélson Fonseca saved OvO FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, José de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feil Futebol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but José de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joélson Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Nesor Rancel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joélson Fonseca was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Kajetan Dzerwucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 84 minutes into the match, OvO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nesor Rancel came free, but Joélson Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Kajetan Dzerwucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Dzerwucki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nesor Rancel's late challenge caught a OvO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nesor Rancel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th match minute, Feil Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nesor Rancel to maneuver through the defense. Feil Futebol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
