Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rogério Dante made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Rogério Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Cafu do Nascimento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Warnow's Oséas Cearense. Oséas Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Warnow defense, Cícero Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséas Cearense. The Warnow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséas Cearense should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes Warnow got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Netto. Oséas Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Amaral's late challenge caught a Warnow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Warnow booed when Laranja EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogério Dante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romário Dantas. That made the score 2-2 in the 26 minute of play. Laranja EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitório Pimenta in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Zé Roberto Meira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oséas Cearense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Warnow's Rogério Dante in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laranja EC's goalie prevented a goal. Oséas Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Pernambucano in the 34th minute of play. If Cícero Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Dênis de Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warnow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laranja EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Warnow's Dênis de Andrade got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th match minute, Warnow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Cearense acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zé Roberto Meira. Warnow's Oséas Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Warnow from getting a goal against them. Oséas Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório Pimenta got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cafu do Nascimento. Oséas Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Oséas Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cícero Antunes in the 78th minute. In the 78th play minute Cícero Antunes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oséas Cearense. 3-4. In the 81st minute, Cléberson Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Rogério Dante put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Romário Dantas. Cícero Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Oséas Cearense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Rogério Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romário Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4.
