In the 2nd minute, Enio de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Enéas Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes SWORD ART got a freekick which was hit by Jason Rullo. Enéas Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alexsandro Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OvO FC. Ezequiel Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Joélson Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of OvO FC booed when SWORD ART was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. OvO FC's Enéas Capixaba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SWORD ART. In the 37th minute, Oliver Bierhoff fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Gilberto Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Oliver Bierhoff made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes SWORD ART got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Bierhoff. Oliver Bierhoff fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 56th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Ezequiel Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, SWORD ART's goalkeeper Alexsandro Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Capixaba. 72 minutes into the game, Emerson Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OvO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SWORD ART the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, OvO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Vides to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. SWORD ART's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joélson Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Abel Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SWORD ART were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing OvO FC to leave the ground with a draw.
