Rogério Dante in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joélson Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute, Ricardo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléberson Aguiar in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joélson Fonseca saved OvO FC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enéas Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Joélson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Dante in the 59th minute of play. Cléberson Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Fonseca having to interfere. A collision led to Warnow getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Luisão Tepedino hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Pontes during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, OvO FC's Bruno Pontes got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Enéas Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Rogério Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
