After having played for 4 minutes, Pedrão Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escorpios F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo-Erik Lidberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão Coelho got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Roberto Vale handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Roberto Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão Coelho's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. André Sarmento hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Luís Fábio Veloso struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Duarte de Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC fura. 24 minutes into the match, Escorpios F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Veloso came free, but Duarte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Escorpios F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Luís Fábio Veloso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Duarte de Barros to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute Luís Fábio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Pedrão Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Bo-Erik Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC fura booed when Escorpios F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. LeBron James didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Escorpios F. C.'s zone, Júlio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte de Barros came out of the goal and Júlio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Carlos Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, FC fura's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Coelho came free, but Roberto Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrão Coelho made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Pedrão Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 54th minute, Ronaldinho Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pedrão Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Escorpios F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Coelho couldn't finish the play. Duarte de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Travassos in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Pedrão Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escorpios F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Carlos Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Roberto Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Escorpios F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Travassos came free, but Duarte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC fura's Renato Faria got a free kick in the 84th minute. Pedrão Coelho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Roberto Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedrão Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Roberto Vale made a huge save. The FC fura fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Escorpios F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
