An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Cerezo in the 4th minute of play forced Ferraz's goalkeeper Tião Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jano Cerezo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tião Veloso. Tião Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tião Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Corinth went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Flávio Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Cerezo scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tião Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Jano Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Willian Corinth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tião Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tião Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Jano Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORION FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After the first half ORION FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adilson Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. If Jano Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 柳鹏凡 hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Ferraz got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Pinheiro. 61 minutes into the match, Ferraz's goalkeeper Tião Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willian Corinth. A collision led to Ferraz getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adilson Nascimento hit a great ball. Tião Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano Cerezo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tião Veloso saved Ferraz from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Adilson Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tião Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Savier in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Jano Cerezo took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Tião Veloso to make any attempt to save it. ORION FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
