An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by 庞延帆 got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Tião Veloso managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when ORION FC's 庞延帆 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tião Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by 庞延帆 in the 10th minute. Chiquinho Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Maurício Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ferraz defense, 庞延帆 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tião Veloso. The Ferraz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tião Veloso should have stopped the shot. Chiquinho Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chiquinho Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ORION FC booed when Ferraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Jano Cerezo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tião Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Eduardo Savier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORION FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Savier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flávio Capixaba hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 3-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Jano Cerezo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maurício Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Berger in the 44th minute of play. Jano Cerezo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tião Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jano Cerezo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 庞延帆 to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Chiquinho Berger completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chiquinho Berger a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 庞延帆 took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tião Veloso. Tião Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The supporters of ORION FC booed when Ferraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Cerezo in the 60th minute of play forced Ferraz's goalkeeper Tião Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game 庞延帆 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferraz's Tião Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ORION FC's Maurício Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Nascimento in the 64th minute of play. Jano Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dário Branco hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Jano Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 庞延帆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Veloso having to interfere. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 6-0 when 庞延帆 sped through Ferraz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tião Veloso. In the 90th minute Eduardo Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adilson Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Cerezo in the 95th minute of play forced Ferraz's goalkeeper Tião Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ORION FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ferraz for a fine match.
