The Atlético Fluminense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni de Lara should have stopped the shot. If Erasmo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulryk Charlos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Fluminense's Erasmo Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulryk Charlos. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. FLAMENSHOW's Konrad Eliasson suffered a sore foot after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. João Pedro Macedo's late challenge caught a FLAMENSHOW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, João Pedro Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Macedo scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulryk Charlos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Raitin Pazos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLAMENSHOW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raitin Pazos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Macedo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Ulryk Charlos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Fluminense's goalkeeper Geovanni de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulryk Charlos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Macedo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Atlético Fluminense's Erasmo Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Erasmo Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Raitin Pazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FLAMENSHOW's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
