In the 9th minute Dedê Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Caio Prado's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Mello came free, but Erasmo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Caio Prado getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nestor Magalhães hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Robinho da Cunha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Samuel Mello scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caio Prado's Erasmo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Mello in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Germano Paraibano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caio Prado's Erasmo Azevedo. Erasmo Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedê Pinho took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Azevedo. Erasmo Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan Donatello got free with Rafael Mota in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SÓCANELA's Rafael Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Amaral in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes, Samuel Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SÓCANELA and the Caio Prado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes SÓCANELA got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Mello. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Renan Donatello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Erasmo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Pinho in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Germano Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Samuel Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Azevedo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Robinho da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Samuel Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Erasmo Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renan Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rafael Mota made a huge save.

The wind increased when Dedê Pinho made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Germano Paraibano got free with Erasmo Azevedo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Caio Prado's Erasmo Azevedo got control of the ball when Dedê Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Caio Prado getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Natanael de Amaral hit a great ball. Caio Prado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Samuel Mello scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Azevedo, making the score, 0-5. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Dedê Pinho sped through Caio Prado's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erasmo Azevedo. Erasmo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Caio Prado's Erasmo Azevedo got control of the ball when Germano Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Caio Prado's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Mello came free, but Erasmo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SÓCANELA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
