Fabinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Mendes in the 61st minute of play. Dé Freitas scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabinho Terra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. São Cristóvão F.C's Franklin Maranhense got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Franklin Maranhense off the ground. A collision led to São Cristóvão F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Franklin Maranhense hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The São Cristóvão F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while CELESTE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
