Fabinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Tavares in the 12th minute of play. But to his dismay, Leonardo Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fabinho Terra came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Macedonia's Dorian Tavares. But to his dismay, Dorian Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Gaspar in the 20th minute of play forced CELESTE's goalkeeper Fabinho Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Marcel Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Leite in the 28th minute of play. If Leonardo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Leite in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabinho Terra saved CELESTE from getting behind. The supporters of Macedonia booed when CELESTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dragomir Borovinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Leonardo Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabinho Terra. CELESTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Tavares in the 47th minute of play forced CELESTE's goalkeeper Fabinho Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragomir Borovinov made a kick off. Fabinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Leite in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute, Marcel Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber de Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabinho Terra could save by the left post. Fabinho Terra was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Leonardo Leite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Leite really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. If Cido Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Terra having to interfere. Fabinho Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Leite in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Leonardo Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Leite in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Leonardo Leite made a precise shot to the right of Fabinho Terra. CELESTE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macedonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th match minute, Macedonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Custódio to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Macedonia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CELESTE.
