Chacalumbra's Belmiro Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Chacalumbra from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Efraín Bacete kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Belmiro Netto. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glauco Soares in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th match minute, Frutal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Ambjerg to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Belmiro Netto managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Frutal FC's Efraín Bacete fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulão Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alberto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Glauco Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efraín Bacete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Netto having to interfere. Efraín Bacete's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Belmiro Netto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Efraín Bacetes short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Belmiro Netto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 35 played minutes Chacalumbra got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Souto. Alexandre Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Efraín Bacete sped through Chacalumbra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Belmiro Netto. After 68 minutes of play, Frutal FC's Efraín Bacete made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belmiro Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 71 minutes, Efraín Bacete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frutal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efraín Bacete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vladimir Ambjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Efraín Bacete notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Chacalumbra's Belmiro Netto. Belmiro Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79th play minutes Efraín Bacete shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Belmiro Netto and just under the crossbar into goal. Efraín Bacete spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chacalumbra's goal. Alexandre Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Paulão Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Alexandre Vides shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belmiro Netto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Efraín Bacete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro Netto was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Frutal FC had played much better football throughout.
