Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diamantino Paiva started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Manfredo Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emerson Sá. Manfredo Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Sampa FC's goalkeeper Emerson Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Pena. Jairo Pena might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Pena ran back to his position shaking his head. Diamantino Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Sampa FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso da Silveira. A collision led to um dia voltarei getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rafa Amorim hit a great ball. Sampa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Jairo Pena scored to the left of an out of position Emerson Sá, making the score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Sampa FC's Diamantino Paiva got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Jairo Pena came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the um dia voltarei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Pena couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Sampa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Paulo Pontes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as um dia voltarei's Afonsinho Donato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emerson Sá. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game João Paulo Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sampa FC's Emerson Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manfredo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luizinho Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Donato in the 58th minute of play. Jairo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Sá having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Sampa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Pena came free, but Emerson Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Jairo Pena made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sampa FC's Emerson Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Paulo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Emerson Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Jairo Pena made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sampa FC's Emerson Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Jairo Pena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The um dia voltarei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When Jairo Pena came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the um dia voltarei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Pena couldn't finish the play. Afonsinho Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jairo Pena scored 9-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
