Felippe Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Winners Football Club booed when MtoLokosFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A wasted opportunity for Winners Football Club. Ernani das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cássio Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. MtoLokosFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felippe Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Cássio Mineiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernani das Neves firmly grabbed it by the left post. Winners Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Celsinho Maranhense's late challenge caught a MtoLokosFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Winners Football Club's Celsinho Maranhense got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ernani das Neves acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Felippe Trevisan. Tiago Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernani das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Costa in the 78th minute of play forced Winners Football Club's goalkeeper Ernani das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Winners Football Club's goalkeeper Ernani das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felippe Trevisan. Cássio Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernani das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, MtoLokosFC's Felippe Trevisan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernani das Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cássio Mineiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Winners Football Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MtoLokosFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
