Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Pena kicked off to start the match. Dudu Tróia's late challenge caught a um dia voltarei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With 9 minutes on the clock, Felippe Prestes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. João Paulo Pontes took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson de Azevedo. Nilson de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 21 minutes, Luiz Fábio Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirataia and the um dia voltarei players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Ibirataia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Jairo Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson de Azevedo. Ibirataia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Leandro Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Porto having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Válter Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirataia and the um dia voltarei players grew even worse after the yellow card. Válter Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jairo Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson de Azevedo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Reynaldo Porto made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Maurício de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Dudu Tróia was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 36th minute, Dudu Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfredo Moraes struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nilson de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for um dia voltarei. Ian Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Reynaldo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jairo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ibirataia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. um dia voltarei were winning 0-2.

Nilson de Azevedo had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jairo Pena from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ibirataia's Samuel Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Salgado in the 60th minute of play forced um dia voltarei's goalkeeper Reynaldo Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes um dia voltarei got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Donato. Manfredo Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Nilson de Azevedo made a huge save. After 67 played minutes Ibirataia got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Salgado. With a little luck, Ibirataia's Nilson de Azevedo got control of the ball when João Paulo Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When um dia voltarei's Jairo Pena in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reynaldo Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in um dia voltarei's zone, Ian Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Porto came out of the goal and Ian Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Ibirataia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Salgado to maneuver through the defense. When Leandro Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibirataia's protests and gave Leandro Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ibirataia's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Pena came free, but Nilson de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ian Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Valladares went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jairo Pena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson de Azevedo having to make a save. Nilson de Azevedo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Samuel Negri. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched um dia voltarei eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
