After a defensive mix-up in Trivella FC's zone, Romário Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Gaspar came out of the goal and Romário Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Pereira hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Alan Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Carioca in the 6th minute of play. When Romário Reis came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Topazio EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Reis couldn't finish the play. Danilo Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alan Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Topazio EC's goalkeeper Chicão Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danilo Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Hoffmann having to interfere. Trivella FC's Alan Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Carioca in the 28th minute of play. Beto Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Romário Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Gaspar having to make a save. In the 47th minute, Cristiano Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Carioca was the one to do the kick off. Lauro Peres hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Cristiano Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Topazio EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Alan Gaspar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trivella FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topazio EC the free kick. A collision led to Trivella FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristóvão Pereira hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes, Topazio EC's Cristiano Hoffmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alan Gaspar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Topazio EC reached it. Beto Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alan Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Romário Reis sent off a good shot on target. Romário Reis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Romário Reis scored 0-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alan Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Trivella FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tony Hoffmann hit a great ball. Romário Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alan Gaspar made a huge save. Danilo Hoffmann took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Hoffmann. Chicão Hoffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match was over Topazio EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trivella FC throughout the match.
