The wind increased when Raí de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. The Campestre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Goiano should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Campestre's Sérgio Cearense threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noel Neves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. invictus's Serafim Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Campestre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
