If Fabiano Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Shox's Sílvio Romero got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Raí de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Shox's Luiz Fábio Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Shox's zone, Aníbal Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Valadares came out of the goal and Aníbal Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Luiz Fábio Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Carioca in the 60th minute. invictus's Sérgio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Bittencourt in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Álvaro Carioca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Fábio Valadares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 66 minutes into the game, Raí de Moraes lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Luiz Fábio Valadares. After having played for 88 minutes, Aníbal Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. invictus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, FC Shox's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raí de Moraes.
