After 23 played minutes, Tapurah's William da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovani Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tapurah reached it. In the 63rd minute, Anísio Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Geovani Pires. Buenoia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Moreira got free with Geovani Pires in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buenoia FC's Geovani Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Buenoia FC from getting a goal against them.
