Samuel da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zé Pedro Aparecido hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Raí de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. AD.MANTHIQUEIRA's Samuel da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí de Moraes in the 24th minute of play. After 27 played minutes, invictus's Manuel Linhares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel da Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in invictus reached it. invictus's Sérgio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ignacio Angulo in the 28th minute of play. Claudinei Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel da Costa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raí de Moraes in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel da Costa saved AD.MANTHIQUEIRA from getting behind. In the 34th match minute, AD.MANTHIQUEIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Samuel da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raí de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute invictus were awarded a corner. Serafim Mattos went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Raí de Moraes to score against Samuel da Costa in AD.MANTHIQUEIRA's goal. 0-4 after 37 minutes. After some careless play in the AD.MANTHIQUEIRA defense, Raí de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel da Costa. The AD.MANTHIQUEIRA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel da Costa should have stopped the shot. AD.MANTHIQUEIRA made a substitution. Francisco de Souza replaced Amadeu Sousa. After the first half invictus were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, invictus's Iuri Sarmento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After 59 played minutes invictus got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Aparecido. Sérgio Cearense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernandinho Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Sérgio Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vitinho Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, AD.MANTHIQUEIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Tróia to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, invictus's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Azevedo came free, but Sérgio Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Claudinei Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. invictus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AD.MANTHIQUEIRA the free kick. Claudinei Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, invictus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Linhares to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Raí de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. invictus's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, AD.MANTHIQUEIRA's goalkeeper Samuel da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Tróia. After a defensive mix-up in AD.MANTHIQUEIRA's zone, Raí de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel da Costa came out of the goal and Raí de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Anísio de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AD.MANTHIQUEIRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave invictus the free kick. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Raí de Moraes put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel da Costa. The AD.MANTHIQUEIRA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. invictus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
