Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Lazio's Felippe Varela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ademir Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ibipetuba's Rodolfo França got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yao Yi Chao got free with Iuri Cerezo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th match minute, Ibipetuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Ceresso in the 10th minute of play. If Felippe Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Felippe Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lazio getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ademir Berger hit a great ball. Felippe Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Loureiro having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Matheus Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademir Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iuri Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Berger in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Ibipetuba's goalkeeper Iuri Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yao Yi Chao. In the 30th minute, Felippe Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Lazio getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Matheus Quadros hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Natanael Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovanni Severo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Maurício Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibipetuba. After a rather tough play, Lazio's Matheus Quadros got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luís do Vale during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, one of Lazio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lazio. Giovanni Severo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Maurício Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Lazio's Ademir Berger got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natanael Alcântara made a kick off. The supporters of Lazio booed when Ibipetuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lazio getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Yao Yi Chao hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Natanael Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibipetuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iuri Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yao Yi Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Yao Yi Chao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iuri Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yao Yi Chao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Maurício Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazio's Maurício Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Lazio from getting a goal against them. Matheus Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Giovanni Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Maurício Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Natanael Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibipetuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lazio the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Natanael Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Varela in the 88th minute of play forced Ibipetuba's goalkeeper Iuri Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ibipetuba's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Quadros came free, but Iuri Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yao Yi Chao went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Felippe Varela came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lazio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Varela couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
