Vladimir Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Samuel da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AD.MANTHIQUEIRA's Samuel da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Vaz in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, José Ignacio Angulo made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Pernambucano. Tapurah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Waldemar Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Ignacio Angulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After the first half AD.MANTHIQUEIRA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

AD.MANTHIQUEIRA made a substitution. Francisco de Souza replaced Amadeu Sousa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anísio Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Ignacio Angulo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play, Tapurah's Anísio Moreira made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Juvenal Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Ignacio Angulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Fernandinho Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute José Ignacio Angulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AD.MANTHIQUEIRA were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Tapurah's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dário Leme took the corner. The corner ended in Dário Leme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tapurah's Waldemar Pernambucano did a great save. In the 88th minute, Cristiano Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandinho Azevedo in the 89th minute. If Fernandinho Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tapurah getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cristiano Fantini hit a great ball.
