Didi Vale's late challenge caught a Campestre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Didi Vale helped the player get up and apologised. Didi Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Zeca Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buenoia FC's Geovani Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Neves in the 12th minute of play. If Olavo Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Campestre's Falcão Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Soares in the 19th minute of play. Falcão Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Carvalho in the 21st minute of the match. Falcão Goiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Buenoia FC's Olavo Carvalho got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Geovani Pires made a huge save. Campestre's Falcão Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Costa in the 27th minute of play. Geovani Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buenoia FC's Geovani Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Buenoia FC from getting a goal against them. Campestre's Falcão Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Costa in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes, Buenoia FC's Elder Romero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Falcão Goiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buenoia FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Campestre's zone, Olavo Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Goiano came out of the goal and Olavo Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Costa in the 44th minute of the match. Rubinho Lara was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Olavo Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. Campestre's Falcão Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Soares in the 51st minute of play. Jonathan Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Noel Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Geovani Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Maria Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zeca Costa could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Falcão Goiano however easily saved by the left post. Geovani Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Campidelis in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Buenoia FC booed when Campestre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenoia FC's goalkeeper Geovani Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Falcão Goiano made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Zeca Costa sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, José Maria Campidelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Geovani Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Buenoia FC's Didi Vale got a free kick in the 84th minute. Geovani Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeca Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Goiano having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Campestre got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Tepedino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Costa got free with Falcão Goiano in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Campestre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Buenoia FC for a fine match.
