After 10 minutes, Sílvio Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poá F.C. and the Red Skulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Poá F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes Red Skulls got a freekick which was hit by Pere Beloki. Frank Bello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beto Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Bello slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Donatello got free with Beto Andrade in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Red Skulls got a freekick which was hit by Frank Bello. In the 26th minute, Frank Bello reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beto Andrade. The goal made the score 2-0. Poá F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Frank Bello scored to the left of an out of position Beto Andrade, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade got control of the ball when Nando Donatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beto Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pere Beloki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Pere Beloki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Andrade came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Skulls's Pere Beloki. But to his dismay, Pere Beloki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Beto Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Leme in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nando Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half.
