Oscar Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesto Aguilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Athletic Warszaw's Cornelius Korth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Club Athletic Warszaw from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Club Athletic Warszaw's Alan Botelho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alan Botelho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Athletic Warszaw protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alan Botelho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 15 minutes into the game, one of Club Athletic Warszaw:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Válter Leão shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Oscar Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Vítor Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Oscar Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horácio Santos scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Club Athletic Warszaw's goalkeeper Cornelius Korth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Paraense. The supporters of Club Athletic Warszaw booed when Lobos do Cerrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Oscar Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Sergipano in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Olavo Sergipano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lobos do Cerrado's Oscar Leite. Oscar Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lobos do Cerrado's Oscar Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Carneiro in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Lobos do Cerrado's Kléber de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelius Korth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 58th minute Horácio Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelius Korth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Nascimento in the 59th minute of the match. Moisés Amorim hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Horácio Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Lobos do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Mateus de Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Athletic Warszaw's players had a chance to rest. Moisés Amorim tried in the game's 73rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Oscar Leite. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. The supporters of Lobos do Cerrado booed when Club Athletic Warszaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Custódio in the 80th minute of play forced Club Athletic Warszaw's goalkeeper Cornelius Korth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Leite having to interfere. A collision led to Lobos do Cerrado getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Moisés Amorim hit a great ball. Sengrat Barcenilla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Club Athletic Warszaw's Horácio Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Athletic Warszaw played a much better game than Lobos do Cerrado and deserved their victory. The Lobos do Cerrado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
