Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leandro Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Poá F.C. booed when Biriguy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biriguy's goalkeeper Elias Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Leandro Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Poá F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade got control of the ball when Igor Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Leandro Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Fonseca went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Igor Fonseca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. 31 minutes into the game, Biriguy's Willian Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 39th minute, Igor Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Beto Andrade. Poá F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Beto Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Biriguy's Artur Bezerra got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Beto Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Botelho in the 55th minute of the match. When Artur Bezerra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Sílvio Sabóia's late challenge caught a Poá F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Biriguy's Sílvio Sabóia got a free kick in the 61st minute. Beto Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Zé Paulo Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biriguy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Botelho in the 78th minute of play forced Poá F.C.'s goalkeeper Beto Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poá F.C.! The referee gave Biriguy a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramiro Vides, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade. 5-0. With 84 minutes on the clock, Manuel Nascimento commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 87th minute, Willian Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Pedro Paulo Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poá F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Biriguy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Poá F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
