Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Francisco da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco da Costa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Enéas Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for APOCALIPSE. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jailson Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macatuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Jailson Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Diguinho Rossi, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The wind increased when Diogo Quintal made the kick off in the second half. After 64 minutes, Otávio Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macatuba and the APOCALIPSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Macatuba's Enéas Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Quintal in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenílson de Barros during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes APOCALIPSE got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson de Barros. 73 minutes into the match, APOCALIPSE's Francisco da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Macatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Enéas Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogo Quintal's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Rosa during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Macatuba's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
