The Wascko of Gamar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Paulo Tinoco should have stopped the shot. After having played for 62 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diguinho Ribeiro's late challenge caught a TLB United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Wascko of Gamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wascko of Gamar's zone, Paulinho Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Tinoco came out of the goal and Paulinho Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Wascko of Gamar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TLB United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
