Léo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho França, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Léo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho França in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Congonhinhas's zone, Simão Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Meira came out of the goal and Simão Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Secco got in the 22nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Basílio Meira handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Christiano Cosme hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Léo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho França in the 29th minute of the match. Christiano Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, APOCALIPSE's Diogo Quintal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basílio Meira. Basílio Meira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, APOCALIPSE's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Aguiar came free, but Léo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Léo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Francisco da Costa came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basílio Meira could save by the left post. A collision led to Congonhinhas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Paulinho Neves hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Paulinho Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Délio Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. Congonhinhas's Basílio Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Secco in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Congonhinhas booed when APOCALIPSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Simão Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. APOCALIPSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Congonhinhas the free kick. Simão Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Délio Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léo Vergílio having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulinho Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Vergílio. That made the score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. The APOCALIPSE fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when APOCALIPSE's Francisco da Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute, Francisco da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, APOCALIPSE's Dalmo Rosa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes, Délio Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congonhinhas and the APOCALIPSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Délio Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulinho Neves struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Léo Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congonhinhas. Simão Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. APOCALIPSE's Léo Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Neves in the 97th minute of play. Léo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Aguiar in the 98th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
