Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgar Dante made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute of the match Diguinho Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enéas Magalhães skillfully saved the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Jailson Maia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sirigado's Hugo Favoretto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enéas Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Senna in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Sirigado getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. David Xavier hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Afonsinho Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Afonsinho Santana got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Macatuba. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ronaldão Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macatuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Mello's late challenge caught a Macatuba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Mello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Ronaldão Baptista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sirigado's Wellington Severo didn't even have to move. In the 29th minute of the match Diguinho Pires shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enéas Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Pedro Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wellington Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Baptista in the 43rd minute of the match. Ronaldão Baptista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jailson Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute of the match Vladimir Nascimento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellington Severo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hugo Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirigado's protests and gave Hugo Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Sirigado got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Favoretto. Ronaldão Baptista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wellington Severo. Sirigado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Sirigado booed when Macatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Macatuba's Edgar Dante in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sirigado's goalie prevented a goal. Ronaldão Baptista's late challenge caught a Sirigado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sirigado's Wellington Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Dante in the 75th minute of play. If Ronaldão Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wellington Severo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Favoretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enéas Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Favoretto ran back to his position shaking his head. Enéas Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Afonsinho Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Severo having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Macatuba had played much better football throughout.
