The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Quadros in the 4th minute of play forced Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armandinho Botelho hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Quadros in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Guga Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedro Paulo Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Quadros in the 12th minute of play forced Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benê Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Benê Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Tinoco. Wascko of Gamar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benê Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Quadros in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Benê Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascatinha's Süleyman Buminhan got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Wascko of Gamar's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Quadros came free, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guga Quadros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 26 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Paulo Tinoco was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Valério de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cascatinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério de Senna couldn't finish the play. Humberto Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benê Pinheiro in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Paulo Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35thth minute of the game Benê Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cascatinha booed when Wascko of Gamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benê Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pedro Paulo Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Guga Quadros shot from long distance in the 72nd minute, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Osvaldo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Wascko of Gamar from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Cascatinha getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Camilo Ishmael hit a great ball. The supporters of Wascko of Gamar booed when Cascatinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Kübler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 94 minutes, Adilson Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascatinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cascatinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
