All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

José Carlos de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Celso Madureira made a huge save. Váldson Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nilson Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mooca FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of New Haven FC for a fine match.
