The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Mooca FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Hermes. After having played for 4 minutes, Jano Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trikoliro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Mooca FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Manuel Baptista hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match, Diamantino Novaes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celso Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 8 minutes into the match, Júnior Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Madureira. Mooca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Diamantino Novaes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Celso Madureira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emanuel Brito hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Mooca FC's goalkeeper Celso Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Ortiz. After a rather tough play, Mooca FC's Pedrinho Furtado got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dé Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes in the game Jano Castro after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Celso Madureira. A very good opportunity. Celso Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Júnior Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Ortiz in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Madureira saved Mooca FC from getting behind. In the 44th minute Reynaldo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elkin Paradela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Faustino to strike the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Madureira having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Manuel Baptista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mooca FC's zone, Diamantino Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Madureira came out of the goal and Diamantino Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Ortiz in the 64th minute of play. If Júnior Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Váldson Moraes could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Elkin Paradela however easily saved by the left post. In the 78th match minute, Trikoliro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Vale to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Trikoliro FC's goalkeeper Elkin Paradela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Vianna. Celso Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Mooca FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Váldson Moraes hit a great ball. After 86 minutes, Luís Guilherme Ortiz made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mooca FC's Celso Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mooca FC's Celso Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Novaes in the 89th minute of play. Celso Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Ortiz in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mooca FC's Manuel Baptista got a free kick in the 95th minute. Trikoliro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
