The coaching staff of New Haven FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcelinho Souza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Haven FC! When the final whistle sounded Trikoliro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Haven FC.
