Jerônimo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Baptista in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jarbas Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Osasco Audax's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarbas Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Baptista notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grêmio Osasco Audax's Jerônimo Santos. Jerônimo Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roberto Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Magalhães having to interfere. Jarbas Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Zé Pedro Urbano's late challenge caught a Grêmio Osasco Audax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Pedro Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Macatuba's Edgar Dante in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio Osasco Audax's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute, Ronaldão Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jerônimo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ronaldão Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grêmio Osasco Audax's Jerônimo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Baptista in the 51st minute of play. Enéas Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Macatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Moura came free, but Enéas Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerônimo Santos was a little too slow when Edgar Dante got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Baptista lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Jerônimo Santos. If Edgar Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Edgar Dante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macatuba and the Grêmio Osasco Audax players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jailson Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Urbano was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Macatuba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
