After a rather tough play, Wascko of Gamar's Luiz Eduardo Fernandes got a free kick in the 17th minute. Carlos de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Fernandes got free with Enéas Magalhães in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Wascko of Gamar's zone, Edgar Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Tinoco came out of the goal and Edgar Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Macatuba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Enéas Magalhães, was totally fooled by Wascko of Gamar's Armandinho Botelho, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Macatuba's Edgar Dante in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wascko of Gamar's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 played minutes, Macatuba's Gonçalo Melo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macatuba reached it. Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gonçalo Melo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Paulo Tinoco. Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wascko of Gamar's Humberto Alvarenga got a free kick in the 46th minute. Edgar Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After 81 played minutes Macatuba got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Miranda. Carlos de Salles hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Gonçalo Melo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Jano Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wascko of Gamar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Macatuba had controlled the match.
