Nilson Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Rok Roll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Andrade. New Haven FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rok Roll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Nilson Andrade came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jabaquara SC's Rok Roll. But to his dismay, Rok Roll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 26 minutes into the game, Jabaquara SC's Paulão Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulão Diniz in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Andrade saved New Haven FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rok Roll in the 30th managed to get into a good position. The Jabaquara SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Carlos de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Paulão Diniz notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of New Haven FC's Nilson Andrade. Nilson Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilson Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Osvaldinho Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldinho Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, New Haven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Couto to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Reinaldo Madureira put in a rough tackle. A collision led to New Haven FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nilson Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, New Haven FC's goalkeeper Nilson Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulão Diniz. Nilson Andrade was a little too slow when Paulinho Fenomeno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-12. Nilson Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulinho Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Paulinho Fenomeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Nilson Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rok Roll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Haven FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Paulão Diniz scored to the left of an out of position Nilson Andrade, making the score, 0-15. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rok Roll in the 88th minute of play forced New Haven FC's goalkeeper Nilson Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, New Haven FC's Almir Furlan got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Diniz got free with Nilson Andrade in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilson Andrade came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jabaquara SC's Rok Roll. But to his dismay, Rok Roll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Nilson Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jabaquara SC played a much better game than New Haven FC and deserved their victory. The New Haven FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
