Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Mooca FC's Vicente Faustino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wellington Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Faustino in the 5th minute of play. Wellington Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Wellington Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mooca FC. If Patrick Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes, Patrick Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mooca FC and the Sirigado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Vianna hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Wellington Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Vianna in the 25th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Manuel Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christian Amaral struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Celso Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sirigado. Reynaldo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Severo having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Mooca FC's Patrick Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wellington Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Celso Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Celso Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Senna in the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Mooca FC's Manuel Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wellington Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Patrick Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. With a little luck, Sirigado's Wellington Severo got control of the ball when Vicente Faustino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Manuel Baptista had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 84 minutes of play Sirigado's Wilton Guerra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th match minute, Sirigado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Guerra to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Faustino in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Severo saved Sirigado from getting behind. Mooca FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
