Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silvério Peres got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Chicão de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argenita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chicão de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonsinho Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Pedro Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Mattos having to interfere. A collision led to Crichas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. João Paulo Favoretto hit a great ball. Diego Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Peres in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Argenita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Chicão de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Pedro Braga came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Crichas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Braga couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Laércio Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão de Souza in the 29th minute of play forced Crichas's goalkeeper Afonsinho Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Chicão de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Afonsinho Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 played minutes Crichas got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Toledo. Diego Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Guimarães in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chicão de Souza in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonsinho Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão de Souza in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Argenita FC's goalkeeper Diego Mattos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Pedro Braga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chicão de Souza in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonsinho Cunha saved Crichas from getting behind.

After having played for 56 minutes, Laércio Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argenita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Váldson Brodel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego Mattos. Argenita FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Argenita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Peres came free, but Diego Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, José Pedro Braga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crichas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argenita FC the free kick. Chicão de Souza made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 66thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Afonsinho Cunha would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Silvério Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Peres in the 74th minute of the match. Chicão de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonsinho Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chicão de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Braga in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Silvério Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Pontes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Afonsinho Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argenita FC. 87 minutes into the match, Argenita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri de Andrade came free, but Diego Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Argenita FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. William Vianna hit a great ball. Luiz Fábio Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Mattos having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Argenita FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
