José Maria Paiva came out of the goal and Richard Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind KRAKATOA F.C.'s goalkeeper José Maria Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. César Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KRAKATOA F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlinhos Massa 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Carlinhos Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spirofagia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caco de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caco de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião de Moraes during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Tião de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Carlinhos Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spirofagia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KRAKATOA F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Carlinhos Massa scored to the left of an out of position José Maria Paiva, making the score, 2-0. Carlinhos Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Paiva having to interfere. José Maria Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Eger in the 43rd minute. After 44 minutes, Fabrício Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KRAKATOA F.C. and the Spirofagia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Spirofagia FC booed when KRAKATOA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos Massa made a kick off. Carlinhos Massa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. José Maria Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spirofagia FC. Lúcio da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Caco de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlinhos Massa came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Spirofagia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Massa couldn't finish the play. Richard Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. José Maria Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Massa scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Carlinhos Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spirofagia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. José Maria Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Massa in the 91st minute of the match. Richard Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Paiva having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Spirofagia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
