The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Not a Number. Dráuzio Tande shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Raí Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ernesto Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Mesquita in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Vinícius Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Moraes having to interfere. Ernesto Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Dias in the 19th minute of play. Liverpool FC's Raí Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durvalino Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Moraes was a little too slow when Vinícius Mesquita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 32 minutes, Vinícius Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the Not a Number players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Vinícius Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Not a Number got a freekick which was hit by Alex Faria. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Raí Furtado got a free kick in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Raí Furtado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Moraes. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Matorin in the 58th minute of the match. If Sílvio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinícius Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ernesto Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Not a Number's goalkeeper Ernesto Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Raí Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Raí Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Not a Number's Ernesto Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vinícius Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ernesto Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raí Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Vinícius Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Liverpool FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
