If Marquinhos Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Afonsinho Cunha made a huge save. After 18 minutes, Dedé Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SRL FC and the Crichas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, SRL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Crichas's Váldson Brodel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Acácio Dionísio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crichas reached it. After a rather tough play, SRL FC's Geraldo Siqueira got a free kick in the 20th minute. Acácio Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Braga in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Crichas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amauri Amaral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Crichas's Afonsinho Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Veiga in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Hermínio Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Pedro Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Acácio Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Crichas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Conrado Guimarães hit a great ball. Silvério Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Amauri Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Cunha having to interfere. During the 42nd minute of the match Dedé Sousa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dedé Sousa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Amauri Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Afonsinho Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca Paraense made a kick off. Crichas's Afonsinho Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Paraense in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Luiz Fábio Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crichas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Giovani Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Peres in the 89th minute of play forced SRL FC's goalkeeper Acácio Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, José Pedro Braga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Acácio Dionísio. José Pedro Braga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Samuca Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SRL FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
