Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carlinhos Massa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Carlinhos Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spirofagia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Richard Eger in the 7thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Enio Falcão had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Regina FC's Cássio de Medeiros got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of Regina FC booed when Spirofagia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Regina FC got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Alvarenga. Lúcio da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Mateus Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Regina FC's protests and gave Mateus Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Regina FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mateus Vieira hit a great ball. Enio Falcão acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fiori Paraense. In the 26th minute, Spirofagia FC's Carlinhos Massa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Richard Egers short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Enio Falcão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrinho Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. Enio Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Eger in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes Spirofagia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Guilherme Mazza who took care of the corner kick. Regina FC made a substitution. Wiliam Guimarães replaced Douglas Leme. Pedrinho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio da Silveira having to interfere. Lúcio da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes in the game, Pedrinho Nascimento fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lúcio da Silveira having to interfere. Enio Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Eger went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Enio Falcão came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Spirofagia FC's Carlinhos Massa. But to his dismay, Carlinhos Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alan da Silva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Regina FC's Pedrinho Nascimento got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lúcio da Silveira. The audience was convinced that Pedrinho Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio da Silveira was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 89 played minutes Spirofagia FC got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Sanches. Luiz Guilherme Mazza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio da Silveira. Spirofagia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lúcio da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Mazza in the 94th minute of the match. Lúcio da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 101st minute, when Wiliam Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Regina FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Spirofagia FC had won, even though Regina FC had held more of the ball.
