Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caco de Mendonça in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademar Arce's late challenge caught a KRAKATOA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademar Arce helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Albano getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ademar Arce hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Tiago Gabriel Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Braga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Augusto de Barros struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. José Maria Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albano. With an all-out effort, Albano's José Maria Paiva threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Augusto de Barros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
