The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano de Carvalho in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Oliveira saved Niquini FC from getting behind. André Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Custódio in the 10th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cirilo EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! After a long run with the ball, Daniel Nascimento did a trick in the 14th minute in front of Cirilo EC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Niquini FC's Daniel Nascimento! A collision led to Cirilo EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Osvaldinho Marques hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Luiz Fábio Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Cirilo EC and the Niquini FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Cirilo EC got a freekick which was hit by Jano de Carvalho. In the 40th minute of the match Ernesto Matos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Ceresso skillfully saved the ball. If Laércio Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Oliveira having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulysses Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Niquini FC's Ulysses Cearense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Ceresso. That made the score 1-3 after 59 minutes of play. Simão Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Oliveira having to interfere. Laércio Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Cirilo EC's Emílio do Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Miranda in the 77th minute of play forced Niquini FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
