The throw-in from Benjamin Vasconcelos in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cirilo EC's Simão Miranda. Cirilo EC's Jano de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Guaramirim-FSCMZ to win.
