In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orlando Pirates's goalkeeper Jorginho Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duarte Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorginho Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Gustavo Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Carlos Fernando Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irajá Atlético Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.
