Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Brito in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Andrézinho Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Donato Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Brito. In the 11th minute Carlos Fernando Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kang Qing Sha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Duarte in the 14th minute of play. Kang Qing Sha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Duarte in the 16th minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Donato Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Brito in the 22nd minute of the match. If Carlos Fernando Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Donato Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Mirones. Donato Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando Brito's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Donato Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Brito in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Brito in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Arantes saved CORINTHIANS from getting behind. When Duarte Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Irajá Atlético Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Carlos Fernando Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Fernando Brito made a kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Tomas Mirones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irajá Atlético Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Mirones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Carneiro scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Fernando Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Arantes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS's Léo Zanette got a free kick in the 74th minute. Romeu Moraes struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Donato Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irajá Atlético Clube. After a defensive mix-up in CORINTHIANS's zone, Carlos Fernando Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Arantes came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Tomas Mirones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Arantes. CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Mirones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tomas Mirones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Arantes having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Andrézinho Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CORINTHIANS and the Irajá Atlético Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Andrézinho Palmeira hit a great ball. Duarte Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Irajá Atlético Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
