CASTANHEIRA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Petersburgo FC the free kick. A collision led to CASTANHEIRA F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Baldomero Belasko hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Kapelski in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Peres saved CASTANHEIRA F.C. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Gwidon Kapelski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fábio Peres. After 15 minutes, Damian Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Petersburgo FC and the CASTANHEIRA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 16 minutes into the match, São Petersburgo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Nardo came free, but Diedrik Nys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gwidon Kapelski sped through CASTANHEIRA F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Peres. Dino de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Luiz Fábio Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwidon Kapelski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Luiz Fábio Peres 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Emiliano Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CASTANHEIRA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diedrik Nys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diedrik Nys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, CASTANHEIRA F.C.'s Luiz Fábio Peres got control of the ball when Gwidon Kapelski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gwidon Kapelski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the CASTANHEIRA F.C. defense, Dino de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Peres. The CASTANHEIRA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Peres should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of CASTANHEIRA F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of São Petersburgo FC:s goal. Luiz Fábio Peres went to the wrong direction when Tom Holland was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 47 minutes into the match, CASTANHEIRA F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwidon Kapelski. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Nardo made a kick off. Kléber Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Gwidon Kapelski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Luiz Fábio Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwidon Kapelski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Peres having to interfere. Dino de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to São Petersburgo FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hamílton Galvão hit a great ball. Emiliano Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diedrik Nys having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Gwidon Kapelski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes CASTANHEIRA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Dias. Gwidon Kapelski took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fábio Peres. Luiz Fábio Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. São Petersburgo FC's Diedrik Nys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Nardo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Hamílton Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
