Lauro Baiano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ricardinho Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mariluz FC's Ricardinho Rodrigues got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Valadares in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Carneiro saved Mariluz FC from getting behind. Eduardo de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Mariluz FC booed when Centésimo Time F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Alois Gavlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yan Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ruy Rezende's late challenge caught a Centésimo Time F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Mariluz FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Rezende. After 41 played minutes, Centésimo Time F.C.'s Anísio Mattos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Carneiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Centésimo Time F.C. reached it. Mariluz FC's Yan Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alois Gavlas in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Mariluz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alois Gavlas came free, but Yan Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Yan Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Centésimo Time F.C.'s Sidnei Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 53 minutes into the game, Anísio Tepedino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariluz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centésimo Time F.C. the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Alois Gavlas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yan Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alois Gavlas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Centésimo Time F.C.'s Matías Linares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yan Carneiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alois Gavlas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Carneiro saved Mariluz FC from getting behind. Ricardinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sercan Ceri having to interfere. Centésimo Time F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
